Built On Trust

Our story connects the RME Group’s industrial heritage with two specialist UAE manufacturing operations: RhinoGuard Aluzinc coated steel coils in Umm Al Quwain and RhinoShield pre-painted metal coils in Dubai Industrial City. The work begins with the right material and continues through coating, inspection and dependable supply.

Progress
Takes Form

Meeting today’s material requirements. Investing in tomorrow’s industry.

Steel is essential to the buildings, production systems and infrastructure that support daily life. At Rhino Steel Industries , we approach coated metal manufacturing with that end use in mind, bringing technical attention to each substrate, protective layer and surface finish.

Our story in the UAE is built around two distinct companies with complementary capabilities. Rhino Steel Industries LLC , based in the Umm Al Quwain industrial area, manufactures RhinoGuard Aluzinc coated steel coils . Continuous aluminium-zinc alloy coating helps protect steel against corrosion for roofing, cladding, HVAC, fabricated components and other industrial uses.

In Dubai Industrial City , Rhino Steel Industries & Coating LLC operates a separate continuous colour-coating facility. Its RhinoShield product range covers pre-painted galvanized steel (PPGI) , pre-painted Aluzinc steel coils (PPGL) and pre-painted aluminium coils . These finishes combine substrate performance with colour, forming requirements and architectural flexibility.

Both operations are connected to the industrial heritage of the RME Group of Companies , whose UAE history includes the establishment of Roofings Middle East FZC in 2004 . The group’s history gives our manufacturing story its context, while each Rhino Steel company retains its own facility, legal identity and specialization.

A Legacy Of Purpose, People And Progress

Over the years, every step we’ve taken has been guided by our commitment to do our best, treat people with respect, and care for the communities and environment around us. From our earliest days, we have believed that true strength is not found only in the steel we produce, but in the values and relationships we forge along the way. For us, steel has always represented more than a material, it is the backbone of progress, the framework on which communities grow and industries thrive. True progress means more than expansion; it means empowering local industries, strengthening supply chains, and contributing meaningfully to our nation’s vision for growth and self-reliance. By investing in manufacturing capabilities and nurturing skilled talent, we help create opportunities that endure and inspire. As we look to the future, we remain guided by the values that have shaped our journey from the beginning, integrity, innovation, and a promise to build with purpose. We believe our responsibility does not end at our production lines; it extends to every life we touch, every community we uplift, and every future we help strengthen. Our legacy is not just about what we build today, but how we inspire those who come after us to dream bigger, work harder, and lead with courage and compassion. We stand committed to nurturing a culture where excellence is expected, progress is shared, and every achievement becomes a stepping stone for generations to come. In staying true to these principles, we believe we can continue to create strength that endures far beyond steel, a strength that lives on in people, in communities, and in the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

From industrial heritage to specialist manufacturing

The RME Group’s UAE industrial history includes Roofings Middle East FZC, established in 2004 . Rhino Steel extends that wider manufacturing heritage through specialist coil-coating operations, with a focus on the materials used in modern construction and industrial production.

Rhino Steel Industries LLC is the Aluzinc coil manufacturing entity in Umm Al Quwain . Rhino Steel Industries & Coating LLC is the separate pre-painted coil-coating entity in Dubai Industrial City, Saih Shuaib 4 . Maintaining that distinction makes it easier for customers to understand which factory is responsible for a product, and which team to contact about specifications or supply.

Across our operations, the objective is practical: to make materials that can be specified with confidence for roofing, wall cladding, façades, HVAC equipment, pre-engineered buildings and downstream fabrication in the UAE and regional markets.

RhinoGuard Aluzinc coated steel coils in Umm Al Quwain

RhinoGuard is an aluminium-zinc alloy-coated steel coil produced through a continuous hot-dip coating process. Prepared steel strip passes through a controlled molten alloy bath; coating weight and surface characteristics are managed before the material is cooled, inspected and prepared for further manufacturing.

For project planning, the RhinoGuard product information identifies 0.18–1.20 mm thickness , 750–1250 mm width (narrower widths via slitting), and coating mass designations including AZM20, AZM30, AZM70, AZM100 and AZM150 . Referenced standards include ASTM A792/A792M and ASTM A924/A924M ; other requested standards and final tolerances must be matched to the order.

The Umm Al Quwain Al-Zn line has a stated manufacturing capacity of 180,000–200,000 metric tonnes annually . This figure relates to that facility and line, not to the Dubai colour-coating plant. Discuss coating mass, grade, expected exposure, forming performance and dimensional requirements with the appropriate team before specifying materials.

RhinoShield PPGI, PPGL and pre-painted aluminium in Dubai

At the separate facility in Dubai Industrial City , continuous coil colour coating brings an engineered surface finish to prepared metal substrates. Coating selection depends on material grade, exposure, forming operations, colour requirements and expected service conditions.

Pre-painted galvanized steel (PPGI) uses a zinc-coated steel substrate with a factory-applied organic finish. It is relevant to roofing, wall cladding, building components and fabricated panels. Pre-painted Aluzinc steel (PPGL) combines an aluminium-zinc alloy-coated substrate with a colour finish for projects that call for both metallic corrosion protection and a consistent appearance.

Pre-painted aluminium coils provide a lighter-weight coated-metal option for façades, architectural panels and other applications where alloy choice, formability and finish are important. The Dubai operation describes coating options such as polyester, HDP and PVDF ; the suitability of each finish should be reviewed against the intended environment and project specification.

Its stated annual colour-coating capacity is 60,000 metric tonnes , attributed specifically to the Dubai facility. Our four core coil families therefore share a brand story without being represented as products from one single manufacturing line.

What happens from substrate to finished coil

Manufacturing consistency depends on more than the coating material alone. The process begins with appropriate raw steel or aluminium and careful preparation of the surface. In metallic coating, line conditions help control the alloy layer. For pre-painted coils, substrate preparation, paint application and curing are matched to the required finish.

Inspection includes the properties relevant to the product and order, such as coil thickness, coating weight, colour consistency, adhesion, mechanical performance and surface appearance . Rhino Steel’s product information also refers to tests involving salt spray resistance, bending, tensile properties, gloss and related surface characteristics.

Following inspection, coil identification, packaging and dispatch practices help protect material in transport and preserve traceability. Customers should request the applicable product test documentation, current certification scope and agreed specifications for their particular order rather than relying on a general description.

Selecting coated coils for real applications

A successful specification connects the substrate, protective metallic coating, colour finish, fabrication method and service environment . Roofing and cladding demand attention to corrosion exposure, weathering and forming. Façade and panel applications may place more emphasis on colour retention, paint chemistry, surface appearance and dimensional consistency.

In HVAC, appliance components and industrial fabrication, thickness, grade and mechanical properties can be as important as appearance. That is why choosing between Aluzinc, PPGI, PPGL and pre-painted aluminium starts with the intended use rather than a product name alone.

Our manufacturing teams can discuss material families, available dimensions, coating grades and required documentation with contractors, fabricators, distributors and project buyers. With operations in Umm Al Quwain and Dubai , Rhino Steel supports conversations about coated metal supply across the UAE and wider GCC without obscuring which factory performs each process.
